Every article is written or edited, checked and approved by Anmol Kulshreshtha, the developer of CaloriePix. Nothing is published automatically without that review.
How we use AI
Some articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools. Those articles say so at the end. A draft is only a starting point: it's rewritten where needed, every claim is checked, and anything that can't be verified is removed.
How facts are checked
- Nutrition numbers come from primary sources such as USDA FoodData Central and government or academic health bodies, and each article lists its sources.
- Steps that describe CaloriePix are checked against the current app.
- Comparisons with other apps state when the facts were checked.
- We don't promise results, give diagnoses or recommend treatments. The articles are general information, not medical advice.
Dates and updates
Each article shows when it was published. When we make a substantive change, we show the date it was updated. Small fixes like typos don't change the date.
Corrections
