About Anmol Kulshreshtha

I'm the independent developer of CaloriePix, the AI calorie counter for iPhone and Android.

What I do

I design, build and support CaloriePix myself. That includes the photo, barcode, label and voice logging, the nutrition calculations behind the free calculators on this site, and the answers you get when you write to support.

Why I write the blog

Most questions I get are about how calorie counting works: why estimates differ, how to log a home-cooked meal, how much protein to aim for. The blog answers those questions in plain language and links to the sources behind every number.

Every article is checked and approved by me before it's published. I use AI tools to help draft some articles, and I explain exactly how on the how we create content page.

What the blog is not

I'm a software developer, not a doctor or a registered dietitian. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are changing your diet significantly, please talk to a qualified professional.
